Lessons
In my voice lessons, we start with the body and the breath, then move into sound: building a voice that is technically supported, creatively alive, and fully your own.
My studio is for all kinds of voices—total beginners, “non-singers,” working vocalists, and anyone who feels a little estranged from their sound.
In our work together, we might explore:
-
Breathwork + vocal health (nervous system + diaphragm)
-
Range building + tone development
-
Finding and trusting your natural voice
-
Expressive, creative singing across genres
- Working through tension, blocks, or fear around sound
- Approaches to improvisation
-
Improvisation + voice-as-instrument
-
Experimental and nontraditional vocal techniques (noise, texture, extended voice)
- Composition (with an emphasis on nontraditional scores)
Each session is responsive to your body, your history, and your goals.
Why Study With Me
This is not about sounding perfect.
It’s about sounding present, embodied, and free.
I am an active performer and composer whose work moves between song, noise, text, and ritual. I bring that same curiosity into teaching: grounded in healthy technique, but open to the messy, honest parts of sound.
Students learn:
- A functional technique that actually supports you
-
Breath and body alignment for sustainable singing
-
Confidence, ease, and play in the voice
-
A clearer sense of artistic identity and personal expression
